First Day Of School
So Monday was my first day of school, so that's why i've been lagging on making videos, blog posts, etc. I'm sorry, i'm just trying to get back into the swing of things, and since it's my senior year,i've REALLY got to focus on school and theatre.ANYWHO, this is how my first few days have been: AWKWARD!
I know i'm a senior. I shouldn't feel awkward because i've been there the longest.
AHA! See what i said up there that feels wrong??? the "i've been here the longest" part?THAT'S what's weird.
You see, it's because being a freshman, sophmore, or junior, you have someone to look up to, to help and guide you through everything. As a senior, you realize there is no one up there, and that it's YOU that all the underclassmen look up to.When you realize that, a ton a bricks seem to slam into and you realize "Wow, i really have to show them how to be a good example!" (not that that's a BAD thing or anything =]) it's just a wierd concept to think about. And not only that, but my future is right in front of my eyes: pretty soon i'll be going out into the real world and getting a job,going to college, purchasing a home, getting married and having kids, etc.
Isn't that wierd to think about? I don't know; maybe i'm overthinking things. BUT it is safe to say that Senior year is the gateway to the rest of your life.
So after all this rant (i guess haha or:expressed concerns) I thought i'd show you this fun picture i found when i was decorating my binder =)
What do you think? It's the Disney Princess crew if their dresses were more modern. I love Ariel's, Belle's (like my prom dress but in yellow =D ) and Tiana's. THEY ARE ALL SO PRETTY THOUGH!!!

I love the look of leather jackets! They can either be glam grunge or girly, depending on how you dress it up.

I don't know about you guys, but school starts for me on Monday (the 22nd)!
I'm really excited but also nervous because i'm going into my last year of highschool.
Anywho, i've been thinking alot about what i'm going to wear.
I'm thinking transitionwise, why not wear shorts with a cardigan? It balances off the summer-fall teeter totter with the long sleeves and the shorts. I love cardigans! They're great to wear when it's not to hot out, or it's a little bit chilly. Also, who doesn't love a colorful bag? It's a GREAT way to showcase your fun personality! =)

Delightful...Like Chocolate
So i don't know why, but i was totally thinking about Valentines Day when i made this, although Valentines Day isn't anywhere near or anything.
Haha it totally could be a back to school outfit as well.

Are you excited and/or nervous for this year?
I'm excited for next year's theatre season, especially since we're doing Twelfth Night, Sweeney Todd, Pride & Prejudice, And Honk! I'm nervouse though because it's my senior year, and because i highly f=doubht i'll get a lead, because there are SO MANY talented thespians n my troupe.
What's for favorite part of getting ready for back to school?
Definately clothes shopping! && putting together the front of my binder( i like to get the ones with the clear pocketsso that i can personalize it) Gettinga new hair cut is fun too =)
What grade were you in when you started wearing makeup?
The middle of 6th. I wore eyeliner, mascara, blue or pink eyeshadow, and lip gloss. Occasionally i wore blush. I thought i was so good, but now i look back and realize i didn't even blend my eyeshadow!
Where or from whom do you like to get inspiration for school from?Hmm... from Seventeen Magazine, Juicystar07(Blair Fowler) and Allthatglitters21 (Elle Fowler).
What are your favorite back to school/fall trends?
My favorite trends would probably have to be maxi skirts and color blocking.
Where do you like to go shopping for back to school supplies?
I usually go to Target. They have super cute stuff and it's really reasonable!
What are your favorite stores to go back to school clothes shopping?
Well, i go to Torrid for pants(because i have humungous hips xD), and Forever21, H&M, and Marshalls for tops. I like Buckle, but there stuff is really expensive!
Will you be carrying a back pack or a purse to school this year?
A purse =) I'll be a senior, so i'll only need 3 books =)
What are 3 non-beauty essentials you have to have in your backpack/purse?
1.)Fashion sketchbook, 2.)Water bottle 3.)Wallet
What are your go-to hair products for this year and what is your go to hair style?
I really like my Glo Straightener, my Aussie hairspray, John Frieda Root Amplifier/healthy roots thing and my Treseme Heat protectant spray. I also have this product that helps make hair shiny but i forget the name xD I usually wear my hair curly, wavy, or straight parted on the left with side bangs.
What are your go-to clothing items for this year? And what accessories do you plan on rocking this year?
Probably my skinnies, my slouchy boots, and cardigans/shrugs. I love scarves, necklaces and earrings!

Hey guys!
So here is a cute back to school outfit!
You know what i've noticed? A lot of people are afraid of color! How crazy is that?
I love colorful things, but i tend to get headaches from overly bright things, && actually, from a lot of things.
Since that happens, i try and take in small doses at a time, like maybe a bright top with a pair of dress pants or a skirt, or with a darker/lighter cardigan.
